Turn hammocks into shelters!
Our Moontarp steps in to provide an extra layer of protection when your hammock doesn't cut it. Wind, rain and intense sunshine are common obstacles to comfort during journeys. Even if your campsite is not in the most friendly environment, your tarp will help extend your stay. Made from a lightweight, waterproof, ripstop nylon tarpaulin, the Moontarp sits completely on your hammock to protect you. It also operates independently as a capable blanket. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, you can store its quick-release tension buckles in the corner pockets. Four forced and sealed attachment eyelets improve fit. Compatibility with various poles and cords allows you to choose your perfect setup.
Easy to use!
As always, installing Moontarp is simple:
- Free them opposite loops and the lark's head, using ropes with the same trees as your hammock, place them under the hanging of the hammock
- Tie the loops and adjust the tension to straighten the tarp
- Use the stakes to secure the remaining corners.
- Optionally use a rope to tie the four eyelets, minimizing movement of the tarp.
- Make sure all ropes and cords hang down to keep away the water in your hammock
